The free internet option allowed for connectivity, while the shared lounge and terrace enhanced relaxation options. Amidst the tired exterior, the recent room and bathroom refurbishments were refreshing, though the pool's excessive heat detracted from the experience. The Asian staff and new owners made valiant efforts to assist, adding a personal touch. The historic charm, alongside the chandelier in the stairwell, added character.
